เว็บ คือ เว็บเพจที่มีการเชื่อมโยงกันทั่วโลก ด้วยเครือข่ายอินเตอร์เน็ท
web 2.0 คือ เว็บที่ไม่ใช่แค่เพียงให้คนเข้ามาอ่านข้อมูลเฉยๆ แต่ปัจจุบัน นอกจากกจะอ่านข้อมูลแล้ว ยังสามารถติดต่อสื่อสาร และทำอย่างอื่นได้อีก เช่น E-Commerce เป็นต้น

- การร่วมมือของผู้ใช้อินเตอร์เน็ทมีมากขึ้น เช่น wiki สารานุกรมออนไลน์ที่เกิดจากการกลุ่มคนร่วมกันเขียนเนื้อหาสารานุกรม, Apple เป็นการขาย Content ต่างๆ เช่น เพลง แอพพิแคชั่น แตกต่างจากแต่ก่อนที่ขายเป็นแผ่นซีดี
